With the tannery founded in the early 1970's, and the leather goods factory founded 27 years ago, our company has grown to become a trusted name in the industry, renowned for its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and ethical practices. We take immense pride in our heritage and expertise. Our journey began with a small tannery, where traditional techniques were passed down through generations, ensuring that each piece of leather is treated with the utmost care and precision. Today, we continue to uphold these time-honored methods while embracing modern innovations to produce exceptional leather goods that stand the test of time. Our own tannery allows us to maintain complete control over the production process, from sourcing the finest raw materials to creating exquisite finished products. ETHICAL PRODUCTION

In addition to our dedication to ethically sourcing of materials from animals, we place equal importance on the conditions within our manufacturing facilities. We , Leder Wills , adhere to the approved Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) conditions , as an audited factory by Bureau Veritas for SEDEX ( SMETA) standards, every year for last 12 years. These conditions encompass various aspects to ensure workers' well-being and thereby meeting ethical standards.
We maintain high standards across multiple fronts. These encompass factors such as location and building conditions to guarantee safe , hygienic and comfortable workplaces for our employees. Adequate salary levels are ensured to provide fair compensation, and the provision of regular annual Bonuses is a standard practice. Importantly, there is a strict policy against child-labour, forced-labour, bonded-labour reinforcing our commitment to ethical manufacturing practices.
We have put high emphasis on ethical production . The factory is audited every year , since the last 12 years , by Bureau Veritas , for conformation to SEDEX ( SMETA) standrards . The full report is available on Sedex website .

Leather is an exceptionally sustainable material, particularly when produced using eco-friendly methods such as vegetable tanning. This process utilizes natural tannins derived from plant extracts, significantly reducing the environmental impact compared to traditional chromium tanning. Not only does vegetable tanning enhance the ecological credentials of leather, but it also contributes to the material's renowned durability, ensuring that leather products have a long lifespan and reduce the need for frequent replacements. Furthermore, leather production adhering to REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals) compliant chemicals ensures that the industry upholds strict standards for environmental protection and human health, making leather a responsible choice for consumers and manufacturers alike.
Along with our own tannery producing the leathers as above , we are partnered with another tannery having LWG ( Leather Working Group) audit and approved rating .
The packaging materials such carton boxes and polybags are made from 100% Recycled material .
We have established supply lines for using Organic cotton /Recyled Lining materials , as per customer's preferences.
